Singapore Airlines To Advertise All-Inclusive Prices For Tickets Globally - 21 December 2007

From 1 January 2008, Singapore Airlines will advertise the price of air tickets on an all-inclusive basis, worldwide.

This means, in its advertising, the airline will show the full price payable by the customer at the time of sale, inclusive of all taxes, surcharges and fees.#

In some countries, where it is mandated by law or direction that pricing be shown as all-inclusive, the Airline already complies with these requirements. In others, it is still very much up to the market. However, from 1 January 2008, Singapore Airlines will adopt the all-inclusive fare practice in all markets, irrespective of what competitors do.

Commenting on the reason for the change, Singapore Airlines Executive Vice President Marketing and Regions, Mr Huang Cheng Eng, said the wide variety of extra charges in recent years, and the fact that they now form a greater part of the total price, has led to consumer demand for all-inclusive pricing.

“We will standardise our advertising practices to provide consumers with the full price in all advertisements, wherever we advertise.

“In some markets, this may mean we look more expensive than our competitors at first glance. But we think consumers understand that there are a variety of extras that form part of the ticket price now. And we think it’s time the industry moved to do this across the board.

“In those markets where this practice is not adopted widely, we will take the lead, and give consumers the full picture,” Mr Huang said.

Singapore Airlines extended the policy of all-inclusive price advertising on its website to all country sites in November 2007.

In the interests of transparency, customers will still see a breakdown of what they pay when they book online – the separation of fare, taxes, surcharges and fees will be maintained as part of the booking process.

In some cases, the actual price charged may vary by a small amount on the date of payment. This is caused by exchange rate variations where taxes and charges are levied in a currency that differs from the currency of payment. The all-inclusive advertised price does not include optional charges, such as ticketing fees levied for buying tickets at ticket offices, telephone sales or travel agencies.

#A few countries still levy airport taxes, which can only be paid by the passenger, in cash, at the airport prior to departure. For example, New Zealand, Indonesia, Philippines, Brunei and Turkey.

Singapore Airlines To Increase Fuel Surcharge
29 November 2007

As a result of a further escalation in the price of jet fuel recently, Singapore Airlines will increase its fuel surcharge for tickets issued on or after 4 December 2007. The price of jet fuel has increased sharply in recent weeks, and is now hovering around US$115 per barrel.

The new levels will apply to Singapore Airlines and SilkAir flights as follows:

· On regional routes, US$26 (from US$24) per sector, for flights between Singapore and ASEAN countries.

· US$123 (from US$104) per sector, for flights between Singapore and gateways in the United States and Canada on a single-sector basis; and

· US$75 (from US$67) per sector, on all other flights.

The new surcharge is subject to official approval in some markets, and some local variations may apply where regulatory approvals dictate.

The adjustments will offer only partial relief of higher operating costs arising from increases in the price of jet fuel.

Singapore Airlines will continue to monitor the price of jet fuel and keep the application of the fuel surcharge under active review.

Hurt myself tis morning after i was injured by a box of chicken essence. Can you believe it? Stupid me for sleeping late last nite. Not tat i dun wan to sleep but juz cant sleep. Insomia??? Most prolly since i had history of it.

Still trying to get use to my new baby. After all, i had been using nokia since my 1st fone.

Met sh at Orchard MRT. Went to Mobile Square to fix our fone screen protector. Shop is located at Far East. Our Martin Field screen protector costs us $32 which includes the camera portion.

Din know that Scotts Food Court was no longer around for quite some time as I still dragged sh to search for it. No more BK at Far East too. So we ended up sharing KFC buddy meal. Dar dar met up with us after his work. Returned to Mobile Square to fix his fone. While waiting, i decided to sell my N73 for 300 bucks after finding the price ok. Where to find such gd price......

Took & changed bus at Simei to go Great World City. Waited around 5~15mins before the bus arrived. It was a long long journey. To make it worse, I'm stuck in few traffic jams. Almost late for appt. Waited for the rest at Mac. Thot of selling their old fones at one of the dealer shop dere since they gave better rates. Ended up the shop owner juz gave excuse tat he quoted Daryl wrong rate when he went to ask last nite. Hence, they din sell their fones.

Lunch was at Zion Rd market. Had noodle. From there, the 5 of us took bus to Orchard. Went Sony Ericsson Gallery and was informed by the staff that the model, K850i which we wanted was SOLD OUT. Hard to believe tis as seconds ago we saw another customer purchased it.

The staff there turned so defensive when we tried to reason with them. In the end, we contacted the Gallery at Paragon branch ourselves. The manager promised to keep 3 sets for us when we told him we would be going over there to get it. Told the staff there we would not be getting from them anymore.

Out of the blue, they managed to reproduce 3 sets which we wanted for us. Still kept saying tat it's the best tat they cud do 4 us. We ignored them and proceeded to Paragon. Cliff Lee served us personally when we reached there. Gave our feedback abt the staff attitude at Wisma branch. Rushed off after getting my new fone plus all the freebies which includes photo printer with courtesy from Dave.

Met Patricia while waiting for bus. Talked a bit during the journey. Nice to hear that she got promoted during the last round of promotion.

Tonite is also YES933 金曲奖 nite. Heard the live broadcast from web radio. Congratz to 飛輪海 who won quite a number of awards.

Had not been feeling ok since Mon night. Took leave yesterday coz not feeling well. Who knows today is just as bad. Kept feeling nauseous as if pregnant. Finally called to fix doc appt near lunch time. Didn't ate much during the makan session given by Stacy.

Endured until it's time for appt. Diagnosis: URTI with fever of 39 degrees C. Was given MC for tomorrow and Fri. Cancelled Fri leave application which was approved much earlier. Didn't meet up with sh too as really cmi.

Applied half day leave to settle some personal stuff. Ended up certain items not able to complete. Left office together with Terence who gave me a ride to Changi Village bus-stop. Met up with him at CV carpark. Left for his errands first before ended up somewhere near Kovan.

After tat, had lunch at Macpherson kway chap. When done, left for Marine Parade for long over-due haircut + colouring. Fell asleep during the haircut process. Bought sleeping baju & some hand wash.

Met up with Kerin & Keith for dinner at Swensen Parkway. Changed watch battery for a hefty $8 at Parkway while waiting for our turn to be served. Ordered Salmon N Mushrooms baked rice & pasta. Jalan jalan around Parkway before chilling out at McCafe for a very short while after dinner.

Rupiah 100 passing off as S$1

This is from a friend and please take note.

Take a good look at the two coins - the one on the left is a one-dollar coin, the one on the right is 100 rupiah.

A friend of STOMPer Merlin ended up shortchanged - when a drinks stallholder gave her an Indonesian rupiah instead of a Singapore one-dollar coin.

In an email today (26 Sept), the STOMPer said this happened yesterday at Pioneer Mall (Jurong).

'My friend bought drinks at the food court. Our drinks cost $1.40 and so she gave the stall owner $5. The drink stall gave a change of a $2 note, a $1 coin and $0.60, and she just kept it in her wallet without looking," Merlin said.

"Then, after we left the mall, she realised that the $1 that was given to her was in fact a Indonesian Rupiah 100 (equivalent to only S$0.016)!

"After comparison to our S$1, we realised that both look similar. Just want others to beware and take note when people give you coins"

Beware Of Garbage Trucks

Interesting story from David Pollay (he's a motivation Trainer)....

How often do you let other people's nonsense change your mood? Do you let a bad driver, rude waiter, curt boss, or an insensitive colleague ruin your day? Unless you're a robot, you are bound to blow your top off. However, the mark of a successful person is how quickly he or she can get back his or her focus on what's important.

Sixteen years ago, I learned this lesson. I learn it at the back of a New York City taxi cab. Here's what happened.

I hopped in a taxi, and we took off for Grand Central Station. We were driving in the right lane when, all of a sudden, a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed the other car's back end by just inches!

The driver of the other car, the guy who almost caused a big accident, whipped his head around and he started yelling bad words at us.

My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean he was really friendly. So, I said, 'Why did you do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!'

And this is when my taxi driver told me what I now called, 'The Law of the Garbage Truck'.

Many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it. If they happen to dump it on you, don't take it personally.

You just smile, wave, wish them well, and moved on. You'll be happier if you did that rather than fight them.

So this was it: 'The Law of the Garbage Truck'.

I started thinking, how often do I let garbage trucks run right over me?

And how often do I take their garbage and spread it to other people: at work, at home, on the street? It was that day I said, 'I'm not going to do it anymore.' I see garbage trucks everywhere and everyday. I see the load they're carrying. I see them coming to drop it off. And like my taxi driver, I don't make it a personal thing; I just smile, wave, wish them well, and I move on.

Good leaders know they have to be ready for their next meeting. Good parents know they have to welcome their kids home from school with hugs and kisses. Teachers and parents know that they have to be fully present and at their best for the people they care about.

The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take over their day. What about you? What would happen in your life, starting today, if you let more garbage trucks pass you by?

Here's my bet. You'll be happier.

So...love the people who treat you right.

Forget about the ones who don't.

Believe that every thing happens for a reason.

No doubt, i have ever received tis email before. Still feels touched abt it after reading.

One day a teacher asked her students to list the names of the other students in the room on two sheets of paper, leaving a space between each name. Then she told them to think of the nicest thing they could say about each of their classmates and write it down. It took the remainder of the class period to finish their assignment, and as the students left the room, each one handed in the papers. That Saturday, the teacher wrote down the name of each student on a separate sheet of paper, and listed what everyone else had said about that individual.

On Monday she gave each student his or her list. Before long, the entire class was smiling. "Really?" she heard whispered. "I never knew that I meant anything o anyone!" and, "I didn't know others liked me so much." were most of the comments.

No one ever mentioned those papers in class again. She never knew if they discussed them after class or with their parents, but it didn't matter. The exercise had accomplished its purpose. The students were happy with themselves and one another. That group of students moved on. Several years later, one of the students was killed in Viet Nam and his teacher attended the funeral of that special student. She had never seen a serviceman in a military coffin before. He looked so handsome, so mature. The church was packed with his friends. One by one those who loved him took a last walk by the coffin. The teacher was the last one to bless the coffin As she stood there, one of the soldiers who acted as pallbearer came up to her. "Were you Mark's math teacher?" he asked. She nodded: "yes." Then he said: "Mark talked about you a lot."

After the funeral, most of Mark's former classmates went together to a luncheon. Mark's mother and father were there, obviously waiting to speak with his teacher.

"We want to show you something," his father said, taking a wallet out of his pocket. "They found this on Mark when he was killed. We thought you might recognize it." Opening the billfold, he carefully removed two worn pieces of notebook paper that had obviously been taped, folded and refolded many times. The teacher knew without looking that the papers were the ones on which she had listed all the good things each of Mark's classmates had said about him. "Thank you so much for doing that," Mark's mother said. "As you can see , Mark treasured it ."

All of Mark's former classmates started to gather around. Charlie smiled rather sheepishly and said, "I still have my list. It's in the top drawer of my desk at home."

Chuck's wife said, "Chuck asked me to put his in our wedding album.""I have mine too," Marilyn said "It's in my diary."

Then Vicki, another classmate, reached into her pocketbook, took out her wallet and showed her worn and frazzled list to the group "I carry this with me at all times," Vicki said and without batting an eyelash, she continued: "I think we all saved our lists." That's when the teacher finally sat down and cried. She cried for Mark and for all his friends who would never see him again . The density of people in society is so thick that we forget that life will end one day.

And we don't know when that one day will be. So please, tell the people you love and care for, that they are special and important. Tell them, before it is too late.

If you do not send it, you will have, once again passed up the wonderful opportunity to do something nice and beautiful If you've received this, it is because someone cares for you and it means there is probably at least someone for whom you care.

Super heavy downpour started arnd 4plus in the AM. Rain resumed arnd 6plus. Wud have overslept if auntie din knock my door. Called Chung to hitch a ride frm him. Waited for him at TJC bus-stop. Shouldn't have bothered him after realising I cud have taken public transport instead. Delivered the 2 thermal pots to their owner.

Returned Linda her OG card, old + renewed one. Disturbed Andy by singing him bdae song by all of us.

Nightmare continues after yesterday database crash. Reports of error started coming in from various overseas stations very soon after started today's work. Felt tat no work or testing done today due busy replying station's enquiries and reports.

So tired and shagged. Raining again when going back.

Whole day testing at CCB. Apparently, one of our database crashes arnd noon time. This crash cripples quite a number of our applications eg KrisCheck, SAA and not to mention AR. Tatz where my nite mare starts. Streams of emails flooded my inbox with error reports. Sms Derrick to go apt for his flt when I discovered tat KrisCheck is also affected. My turn to be surprise when he replied back.

Chung tobang us(Jess, Linda & me) to Tanah Merah MRT. Discovered Keith's ezlink card had expired. WTF! Waited for Reena after i reached first. Noticed some police at Somerset station. Wonders wat happened. Deposited $$$ into MB using the CDM at Emerald Promenade.

Almost thought i had lost my OG card when i cant find it. Went back to check with the last cashier who claimed tat she had returned it to me. Asked Reena to help me renew Linda's card and apply one for mum while i run up and down the place to look for my card. Recvd call frm them when i did a final check among my things. Ended up i'm right 2 say tat the C28 cashier gal 4gotten to return it to me after my earlier payment.

Bought quite a number of stuffs which included 2 bedsheet sets, 2 bolster covers, 1 black blouse frm Dorothy Perkins, 1 lunch box, more panties n small perfume scent - True Love.

Been so long since i last heard Nicky's song (Yan Huo) on radio. Tonite's song selection all so full of memories......

Hot Air Balloon

Once upon a time, a man in a hot air balloon realized that he was lost. He reduced altitude and spotted a woman below. He descended a bit more and shouted. "Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don't know where I am."

The woman below replied. "You're in a hot air balloon hovering approximately 30 feet above the ground. You're between 50 and 51 degrees north latitude and between 114 and 115 degrees west longitude."

"You must be an engineer," said the balloonist.

"I am," replied the woman. "How did you know?"

"Well," answered the balloonist, "everything you told me is technically correct, but I've no idea what to make use of your information. The fact is, I'm still lost. Frankly, you've not been much help at all. If anything, you've delayed my trip."

The woman below responded, "You must be in management."

"I am," replied the balloonist, "but how did you know?"

"Well," said the woman, "you don't know where you are or where you're going. You have risen to where you are due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise, which you've no idea how to keep, and you expect people beneath you to solve your problems. The fact is, you are in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but now, somehow, you've managed to make it my fault!!"

OG Trip

Took cab to CCB for meeting during late afternoon. The sun and heat was so bloody scorching. Felt myself melting under the sun. Waited for quite some time for the cab even though had called to book one earlier.

After meeting, went to Orchard Rd alone coz Adel unable to make it last minute as her princess fell. Arranged to meet sh 4 dinner while on the train.

Bought 2 thermos pot, a Dorothy Perkins blouse and some very personal stuffs. Can't get mum for her I/C nbr to join OG membership. Ended up called LK for her details. Best part was mum called when i almost reached Cineleisure.

Ate at usual place first. Sh dear joined us later. Left for home after makan while they proceed to PS. Took bus 36 and change 34 at T2. Thought it would be faster this way after looking at the 518 waiting time. God knows, the whole journey took me almost 2hrs. So fxxkg drained out.

At least smthg nice happened today. That is 尊 updated his blog.

　　天才厨师，对料理有与生俱来的才华，「黄金汤」是他的招牌料理，这道看似朴实简单、但却蕴含丰厚味道的料理，也是他坚持厨艺品质的顶级表现；然而却因为主管与自己的理念不合，离开专业的法式高级餐厅，来到Little Bear，选择在家庭料理式的地方当小主厨，自己把关每道料理的呈现。

　　因为小时候被父母遗弃在南特森林餐厅的背景，而导致个性孤僻、冷漠，不容易亲近，但其实是将热情都隐藏式的投注在自己的料理中，而百惠对人的热诚与对料理的执著也渐渐瓦解了他的伪装。

绰号河马，Little Bear的二厨，个性木訥温和，对料理充满热情，但对自己的手艺没信心，所以不愿继承家业，甘於当个二厨在外磨练学习，并求织田收自己为徒。

　　钟情於百惠，百惠刚到Little Bear时常在一旁默默守护她，后来也和百惠成为彼此打气的好朋友。

外表高雅灵慧，脑筋聪明，工作上是能力高超的餐厅企划，应对得宜，但在感情上却没有自信，充满不安全感。

　　父亲是南特森林餐厅的老闆，也因此从小就认识了织田。后来因为父亲外遇离家，母亲生病，自家餐厅遭遇生意危机，常来到Little Bear找织田，央求织田到南特森林当主厨帮忙。因为压力过重，一方面失去味觉，一方面也开始在织田身上希望找到爱情的慰藉。

男， 18 岁，瑾的亲弟弟，因为长期在哥哥瑾的保护之下，个性单纯直接、天真烂漫，时常有些让人哭笑不得的短路行为出现。

璘对小麦的好感源自於小麦亲生母亲留给他的童年记忆，虽然当年的璘年纪尚轻，却始终记得小麦母亲的笑容，因此，当璘第一眼见到小麦，便被小麦的笑容所深深吸引。

利昂霖饰演

男， 18 岁，彩的亲弟弟，看似害羞内向，实际上却有点小心机。因为身边出现的女人都是为了从他身上得到什么好处，所以他故意对外宣称他有「恐女症」，藉此阻挡那些不怀好意的女生接近他。

影原本对小麦并无好感，也认为她只是另一个拜金女，然而亲眼目睹小麦对瑾的付出之后，南风影对小麦的印象完全改观。

皇甫雄
顾宝明饰演

男， 73 岁，皇甫集团的董事长，生性顽固，主控慾强，是个标準的「老狐狸」型人物，外表威严神武，难以亲近，实际上却有著十分孩子气、任性、贪玩的一面。自从独子皇甫尊车祸过世之后，皇甫雄的内心一直是十分寂寞孤单的，因此当他寻回流落在外的孙女小麦时，他为了将小麦永远留在自己身边，不惜使出各种手段，反而造成小麦对他的抗拒和反弹。

独子死后，皇甫雄为了培养日后接班的人选，将家族中最优秀的四个小辈接入皇甫大宅中，施以菁英课程训练。在四名可能的接班人选之中，皇甫雄特别欣赏认真负责、表现杰出的瑾，更想尽各办法想撮合瑾和小麦在一起，没想到却造成反效果。

Sadness - Coincidentally, it's also the 6th anniversary of terrorism attack at US. Heartfelt condolence to all affected.

Took half day leave. Had lunch at Tiong Bahru Chicken Rice at Changi Village. After tat, went to "settle" some stuff. Skipped dinner but down a box of biscuit. Lol......if dun eat, also going to expire soon. So i eat in order not to create any wastage.

LTA has contracted six traffic wardens from a private company at $34,000 a year to take down the licence plate number, make and colour of vehicles that intrude into bus lanes at peak hours. They are incognito with camera in hands so don't expect to see a TP, etc)

Note you can get fined $130 + 4 pts for dropping someone off at or near the bus stop.

LTA has intensified their operations at the following areas:

Had to reach T2 b4 0730hrs. Had some mock up exercise to do. Arranged to meet Ros at 0715hrs. Saw Chung & Pam when i was at ATM. Luckily, we din alight at the same time. Otherwise, may encounter queries from them.

Went to order Sausage Muffin wif egg & ice milo for myself and Fish Fillet for Chung. Took veragel b4 i started to hit on my breakfast. Test system failed to work. Met my sensei cum 恩人 at the exercise. Whole mock up ended arnd 12plus. Stayed for lunch and Naz drove us back to office.

Get to knock off at 1630hrs to cover morning 1 hour. Went to library to pay up overdue fine. Had our dinner at kopi shop near the library. Collected spects and paid $70 for it. At the same time, let them fixed my spare spects.

Also bought Precious Moments cardholder(1 for myself and 1 for my sh), water bottle, chicken essence and toilet paper. Had tiramisu cake at Cafe Cartel before going back for the day.

Managed to ask for direction. Took train to PS. Borrowed more books frm PS SANS. Took our dinner at Manhatten Fish. Find it nicer den Fish & Co.

Ytd, went to return two overdue library books. 4gotten to bring wallet out in the rush. Ended up go back to take my wallet. Waited less than 10mins for sh & sh's dear at Chinatown Point Mac. Wandered around and landed at Chinatown Food Street. Ordered fried oyster, bbq stingray, satay. Very full.

As usual, nua at Global Sound. Had tiramisu and shared a cake with sh. Today's tiramisu was super oiishi! Stayed until 9 plus before we moved off due lack of oxygen. Air quite stuffy. Offered to pick up the tabs coz they paid for it other times le.

Took cab to sh's hse and started dry swimming once we reached dere. We swam until 7 plus am, nearly 8am tis morning. In the end, Dave decided to skip his event & go home to catch some beauty sleep. We slept till after 2 in the afternoon.

My sh treated me to Aijisen. Bought a Pierre Cardin wallet with 20pc discount at Isetan. Signed up and paid $10 for their points card. Muz hv heard wrongly tat additional 10pc will be given which prompted me to sign up for it. Ended up, it meant to collect points only. Sudah lah!

Also, purchased some medicine frm Watson's pharmacy. Met LK & her other half at TM basement. After tat, we nua at Mac until it's time to go back.

Meet up SH at library. Went to makan at Mac. Initially wanted to order 20pcs of nuggets. But we changed our mind due SH not feeling well. Went to return our books after our meal. Borrowed 2 new ones at SANS. Collected printer from Courts. Went to Wallet shop to look for wallet/card holder with the printer. Stoopid hor?

Finally, they approved those ideas with IAC. No idea i got how many at the moment. Oh ya, ytd Jess passed over Robinson vchr($30 or $40?, una to rmbr) won during lucky draw when she came to CCB.

Cutover

Bought 2 pcs of bread at BreadTalk in case hungry during middle of the nite. Had a quick meal before taking cab to CCB. Reached dere arnd 8pm. Did some verification b4 signing off for the cutover. Hit some cosmetics issues when the system first cutover. Certain files are not generated/refreshed. Had some scare for that.

Waited for them to fix the errors. We actually talked abt super-natural stuffs while waiting. Had nuggets & ice lemon tea. Thought okay to go off arnd 3plus. Turned out tat we stayed till 6am. Final verdict: technically cutover success but needs to disable the function.

Was raining heavily when i went off to meet SH & Dave at Orchard mrt/Borders. S/O at Mark & Spencer where they bought some stuffs. Took bus to GWC to wait for SH's dear. Nua at McCafe. Tried out Hong Kong Cafe. Dun like the food. Too salty 4 my liking.

Had a tiring day ytd. Stayed back till quite late as held up with mgr's discussion and some testing to clear for today's production load. Had no choice but to postpone meeting time with SH at Raffles MRT. We ate at Bie Fu located at Far East Square. Stayed over at SH's place for some dry swimming.

Woke up quite late today. Made some chicken wings with noodles for our 2 meals. Decided to go out to Compass Point later just before i moved off to work. Sianz!

Whole day at CCB for project meeting. Supposed everything to be finalised yet there were so much items to be amended. Stoopid bus 12. Made me waited so long for it. Went back to change into sandals & take lappie. Only realised left hp inside other bag after i rushed out to board the bus. If it wasn't delay in bus 12, wouldn't be so rushed. Damn it!

Reached PS den reaslised we only fixed timing but not place. Wandered arnd, hoping to bump into sweetheart. Finally, decided to approach a kind heart lady at Mac to borrow her lappie to msn either DC/DL to infm her tat i'm waiting at PS Mac. Almost cmi as DL wasn't online and DC's status - away.

Met Xiao Jia while waiting for SH and we crapped abit. Took bus to Great World City (GWC) to meet up DL. Off we went to Zion Rd market to have our dinner. Ordered char kway teow & tau pok + you tiao rojak. Shared a large sugar cane drink.

After makan, we went back to GWC for Starbucks kopi as we were unable to find plug at McCafe. Passed lappie to DL to help me to clean up/configure/setup. Saw sms frm LK when i got back. Seemed tat she saw & poked me at GWC. Claimed tat i ign her when in fact i really not aware tat i had been poked ;P

So suay, discovered my new spects len's, one side was broken. Went library with SH. After finished our transactions at the library, we proceeded to makan at KFC coz the discount cpns expires today. Had a very filling dinner. Sent spect back to the shop. Will infmd me after they get price from factory. Walked arnd CS & TM. Din find any books at SANS. But managed to get 3 new ones at CS tat shop.

Happened to browse some laptops at Courts. Found one tatz value for $$$ IMO. Told the promoter tat we will consider 1st. Nua at Mac to enjoy our Chocolate milkshake while we checking out with DL. After some discussion, decided to go get tat Packard Bell lappie which comes with a All-in-One HP printer, laptop bag & extended 2 years warranty. Told them i'll collect printer some other day.

Din realise tat Maybank ATM bank cant used for NETS transaction. Tried several times, so malu. Luckily, got enuff to pay with SH's help.

Woke up quite late ytd AM. Nua at "home" for the whole day. We ordered 2 pizzas + 10 drumlets from Candian Pizza. Started playing MJ quite late, tink arnd 7pm. Lady Luck wasn't with me coz din win a single round. Plus, i'm the one & only loser. LOL! Learning experience. Heng, nvr play real monies. Otherwise, really got to pawn myself le. Still sucks at arranging tiles after so many years.

Extended my stay here 4 another nite. Dave left arnd 11.30pm. We continued our game until 3-4AM.

Arranged to spend the nite at Sengkang ytd. Packed some basic stuff the nite before to bring over dere. Printed the bus routing for 27. Took woodland bus to T2 before changing 27. Overshot the stop which i'm supposed to alight. Took bus back & rqsted the driver to infm me the stop to alight. Luckily, tis time round Dorin was at the stop liao. It was actually the SK MRT stop. LoL!

Had KFC for dinner. Read book until 8plus b4 we moved off to other shops. C/O some stuffs with Dorin. Later, we walked back to her place. Father Lim was the last to reach coz he needed to clear some emergency cases.

Used his pc to settle the SP, posted some stuffs at SGC. Watched DVD before retiring for the nite at 4AM.

Woke up & felt pain at my right neck/shoulder. Last min arranged wif Ros & her hubby to go Circuit Rd tat place 4 treatment. Left office on the dot but was kind of surprised tat it's so empty downstairs. No crowd at the gate. Wat a rare sight! Both of us so worried tat we'll marked. Coz 99.9% we leave office late, today is the 1% case.

Took bus 89 to White Sands. Tried out the donuts at tis shop - Yummy Donuts. Wonder when will the donuts craze bubble burts? Her hubby picked us up at White Sands. So lucky no need to wait after we reached. Another surprise today - saw so many patients Q turn after i'm ok with my turn.

Ytd really forgetful man. Totally unable to remember abt my facial appt even though Lynn had called to remind on Fri afternoon. Really got no choice but to admit old le. Sigh!

Anyway, tat aside, father lim was late for our appt again. All of us got the msg too late as we had left our hse le. Reached Tanjong Pagar MRT arnd 2pm. So much changes at the MRT + the toilet. Din know no stall opened at Amoy on sunday. Ended up we had our lunch at Maxwell mkt.

Nua at a family ktv at Smith Street. It's called 10 Dollar Club. Quite worth it leh. Free flow of drinks + 1 bowl of shark fin for juz $10++ per person. If mbr, only costs $10.

We nua-ed until 7pm den we go hunting for food. Tried a korean - Togi Korean Restaurant at Mosque Street facing CTC Travel. Food not bad leh, spicy enuff. Like the small dishes and kimichi oso. Chilled out at GS until arnd 11pm. Waited very long for bus 518 at PS, 4ever got 2 wait long long. Very tired and enjoyable day/nite.

Met Dorinda at TM library. Borrowed 4 books. After getting the books, we went to KFC for dinner. I had Zinger meal while she had 2pc meal. Changed all the colesaw to whipped potato, drinks to mountain dew. Same price though Dorin had upsized one of the drink to medium. Think the staff had 4gotten abt it.

After makan, we jalan jalan arnd CS & TM. Visited TM San's bookshop 2 search for more books. Same applies for CS since we had no idea where to go le. Separated our ways when she left for a BBQ party near her place and i left for "home".

Met up with Richard at Bugis MRT. Jalan jalan at Kinokuniya for a while. Pending whether to buy their photography book. Ended up din buy even though it's already with discount offer. Perhaps, not so crazy abt him le ba? Giving him mental support can le. Let those xmm give them action and momentary support. Muhahaha...So evil of me. LOL!

Walked to a nearby shop at Purvis Street. It's called Miss Clarity Cafe. Observed tat it's quite popular among youngsters. Suitable for family too. Really 大小通吃. Waited arnd 20~30mins before we get our table. Disliked it when ppl keeps hinting tight budget when they are the one treating, tinking i'm those inconsiderate type who will aim to kill type. Mood relly sianz 1/2 when tat happens.

Planning to meet D&D after our makan/their movie at Boat Quay. Took a walk to BQ. Along the way, we stopped at City Hall MRT coz i need to visit the restroom. Infmd me tat he needs to go home as he juz got sms frm his mom after i'm out. Told him it's alrite and okie 4 him 2 go ahead 1st. Actually, he muz hv felt superb bored to give me such excuses.

Walked to PS instead of BQ. Juz nice tat they finished their movie when i reached Cathy. Met at Mac and crapped until 11plus to 12MN. SMS CK abt my dinner treat. Expected no reply.

Customer service in SG is getting from bad to worse. Encountered bad service at 3 or more different places in a row. Will fill you in with the details later.

Anyway, i went to meet Kelvin at Tampines interchange. After lunch, we took train 2 town 2 meet up with the rest. Who knows we are the 1st 2 be there. Waited less den 5mins 4 mr & mrs lee 2 join us. Almost quarrelled with the CSO. Queued up quite a while coz the tkts are with Dave. Hahaha...tis round is his turn 2 be late.

After getting the tixs, we moved over 2 Taka 2 chill out. The guys went massage while Dorin went shopping with me. Stopped at Giordano 2 get some items. So glad tat extra 10% given after the normal discount with Citibank card. Heng tat we checked the bills after prompting from Daryl.

Went back to the store to cross check. Ends up discovering tat the pant wasn't on 50% discount as infmd earlier. Tried to reason with the person in charge Raymond abt the mistake. He claimed tat his staff had charged us less and wanted us to top up. Of course we rejected & asked 4 refund instead. After several rounds of argument, he offered 2 give 30% discount "ON-HIS-OWN-ACCORD" for the pants. Anyway, after the whole drama, we went over to Balcony's Bar, located outside Heeren. Had 2 ask a couple of times for sauces. Sianz!

Thoroughly enjoyed the show Transformer. Brought back some childhood memories. It lasted slightly over 2 hrs. So surprised tat we're unable to find any 24hrs a/c MAC along the whole stretch of Orchard Rd. Finally, we settled at Mr Bean at Selegie.

Well, today is a SPCL day. Many events are held to mark tis day. Example a 24hrs RTW Live Earth concert to be held over 7 continents, starting off with SYD at 0200 (GMT). After tat, it moves over to TYO, SHA, HAM, LON, JNB, RIO & ending at NYC.

On top of tis concert, over 700 pairs of love birds are tying their knot on tis day too. According to news report, it doubles the number for the past 2 years.

Life @ work sucks todae. Everything so fxxked up. System keeps on creating numerous problems since tat fateful's load. Fone has been ringing non-stop since I stepped into the office. Also kena flooded by email. Did a emergency load to fix one of the problem temporarily. Hopefully, tis fix DOESN'T give me other problems. By the time i left office, i was totally drained.

Din go 4 the treatment as too drained out le. 4gotten 2 take medication out. Went to Eastpoint. They are having Miss Spore World rehearsal. IMO, our gals where got standard to fight agnst other countries after observing them awhile. Bought a small table dustbin and some moth ball. Oh ya, also purchased some card display holder 2 replace current ones.

Office held a fire drill exercise. Every1 were praying real hard tat it'll start 2 rain abt 5-10mins b4 the drill so tat it'll be held indoors. Furthermore, it's so near to knock off time. Guess we all din pray hard enuff coz it's so blxxdy hot n sunny. Whole exercise took slightly more than 30mins to complete. all the staff chiong back once we're given OK sign 2 go back.

Hit some production issues right after ytd's load. Chase after the vendor to rectify the problem. Have no choice but to ask station 2 stop using the program. Luckily, they're to load the fixes b4 EOD. Muz rmbr 2 ask 4 the reason why this glitch happens.

Went for my 3rd session straight in a row. Hanim gave us a ride dere. Bought a bottle of chinese medicine(liquid) for $10 after the massage($30). Hopefully, it can cure my leg's issues.

Juz as i expected tat u'll come up wz some reasons to change date. Y cant u juz be truthful abit? Is "face" so impt 2 u?

Almost 4got 2 bring my wallet when rushing out. Canteen food/drinks prices had increased/decrease in portion ever since GST upped on 01-JUL-07. Decided to go 4 round 2 treatment even though Reena isn't going and TCM is off. Total cost is $34.

Met someone i know on the bus while on my way back. He seems to be clueless abt wat had happened. Otherwise his acting skills muz be so superb until it surpassed those Golden Horse award winners. Had to walk a long way to find bus 28 after realising tat it doesn't ply along Ubi.

Took the correct bus but missed the intended stop end up alighting at Expo. Dragged myself across the bridge and waited for quite some time b4 bus 24 arrived. Took my breakfast at the canteen. The food sucks as it's frm different stall. My usual stall isn't ready yet. Sianx. Tabao egg sandwich 4 lunch as too troublesome 2 move in/out of tat place.

Wanted to start testing but the applicable programs are not loaded/installed due to license issue(???) On top of that, the layout and data were captured wrongly. Spent the whole morning trying to analyse how the logic/formula works. In between the SIT url also breaks down, user id/pswrd are un-usable.

Went off to find vendor to settle some production issues. At the same time, talked to Jeanette abt our upcoming enhancements. Finally left the place arnd 1830hrs to meet Mike for dinner.

We took a cab to Expo and makan at Malan La Mian shop. I had zha jiang mian with xiao long bao. The shop gave us complimentary dessert: almond paste. He actually waited 4 me to board my bus 1st b4 moving off. So sweet of him to do tat.

So many events today: 1) National Stadium is finally closing down today to make way for a new sports hub. 2) Hong Kong is celebrating their 10th year of return to China tonight. 3) Last day where GST will remains as 5%.

Initially, juz planned to have a haircut only. Ended up doing coloring too. Chose a tone brighter den the previous round. The whole course took me arnd two hours. After tat, went Suntec. After getting the Fila bag + 2 pairs of socks, we grabbed a bite at Ya Kun. Walked to Bugis from Suntec. At first din noticed tat Seiyu has been renamed to BHG until i saw the signage.

Went back to Tampines after tat to meet Krystle. Metro CS is totally in a chaotic situation due to the closing sales. Later we had our dinner at Fish & Co & dessert at Cafe Cartel. Tried the Tiramisu Coffee Shake and a slice of Bitter Chocolate cake. The Tiramisu was indeed FABULOUS!!! Instantly fell in love with it after the 1st sip.

Recvd a call/msg frm David & Dorin while I'm otw back to flat. They were chilling out at Chinatown. Thot of joining them after putting down my stuff. Arranged to meet up next week for movie.

Stepped out late 4 my facial. You know what, i reached the place in record time of 10mins or so. Missed my massage so much. Joanne felt ill shortly we started our facial session so skipped massage. Arranged to meet Dave, Daryl & Dorin later in the evening at Orchard.

Finished my stuff arnd 1630hrs. Went to Bedok and had rice cakes(chwee kway). Boarded bus 14 arnd 1700. Realised i cudn't make it on time when bus reached Katong at 1730. Alighted & hopped on to bus 36 instead. Who knows, kena NDP rehearsal & tio traffic jammed. Discovered bus route also changed for 36. Suay! So by the time i reached Orchard, i'm nearly 30mins late. Saw See while i otw 2 Paragon.

Get to know Kelvin aka Calis, also frm SGC. We wandered arnd b4 settling down at Village. Concept similar to Marchie. After makan, we proceeded down to PS. Bought a pair of shoes at Mickey Mouse shop located at Emerald.

Chilled out at Cafe Cartel for the rest of the nite till it's near midnite. Gotten 2 know another new fren (Sandra) who's staying at Marine Crescent. Took NR7 back.

Was off frm work in the afternoon. Went to fetch Kerin & Keith. Had our lunch at Hans. After lunch, we took a bus to Vivo City to catch some movies.

Ended up spending $47 [(7*3+1)+(8*3+1)] on movies tixs. Seating arrangment 4 d 1st show sucks - right in front, the 1st row. No other choice left due it's the only screening slot. Tink all of us kena sore neck after it ended. Luckily, our seating for round 2 (Surf's Up) is quite far behind.

Had our dinner at Sakae Sushi Harbour Front in btwn movie breaks. After makan, we walked arnd & ended getting some accessories. Bought 2 pairs of shoes @ Charles & Keith too.

Was coming to midnite when i got back. So tired!

Ytd, woke up arnd 10plus to prepare going out. Ended up din go to Kwan Inn Temple as planned the day before. Reached Orchard arnd 12plus. Bought 2 pilots pencil with 20% discount at Harris Popular shop. They're having closing down sale. After tat, passed my time at Borders.

Met up David arnd 1.40pm at Scotts. Had lunch at Kuriya (located on level 5 of Shaw Center). After lunch, we walked to TCC at Taka. Ordered latte and Tiramisu. Daryl n Dorin joined in later. Spent our time chit chatting until it's time for me to move off 2 meet Richard. Kenna disturbed by the rest as romantic date which i laughed it off.

Took bus 143 to Pasir Panjang. Ordered pizza while waiting for him. The shop owner, Julie remembers us. i left quite late even though he had left. Who am i to give love advise when my own flops so badly?

He came to fetch n send me back. Din think tat he'll appear after i din reply his last msg. He muz be worried after reading one of my msg. Can't remember how i got back inside.

Threw out everything this morning after i awoke. Had slight headache and leg cramps. Darn, i hate it when the cramps come. It's damn painfully. Popped down 2 pills and went back to bed. Slept thru the day after finishing some laundry.

Went to meet Krystle at Tampines Mall for dinner ytd nite. Over eaten quite a fair bit. Kinda of habit to let mei become my listening ear. Poor her, got to bear with my stories since 8.30pm. Reached back arnd 11.25pm.

Suffered leg cramps in my lower left calf while sleeping. It was so painful till it woke me up. Almost overslept again if not for the morning call from auntie yoke. Threw up last nite food. Guessed i really over consumed too much till i have to throw up. So far, this happens only when i'm having buffet occasionally.

Weather is so freaking hot today till i feeling sick. Worst part is the bus no 9(SBS1712) i took earlier is like oven even though it's supposed to be AIR-CONDITIONED. Unable 2 sleep well even with the fan on.

Finally, tis day arrives. Tis makan had been changed so many times until i lost count. From one AO to another, every details have to be changed. Tis time almost can't make it if venue unable to cfm due last min.

The delivery guy frm Siam Kitchen was damn on time. Received a call frm them while we're otw dere in the cab. As usual, it started off with a speech. Later, we took some group photos b4 attacking our food. Haha, 4gotten 2 take pics of the food b4 we started. Otherwise, those pics will cause you 2 drool. LOL!

Geez, i muz be over stressed by this event until i tapped the sensor at the security gate with my ezlink card iso my staff card.

Was very pissed off with xxxxxxl's sms until i asked Adel 2 reply him. WDF! Who does he think he is? Juz dun bother me with yr family problems as i have no wish to be labelled as betrayer by yr wife who happens 2 be my fren. U two jolly well go and sort out yr stuff yourself. All i can do is juz offer my listening ear. U want proof, den u go get PI. Y bother me?
