Took a cab down to Eastpoint coz i need to go bank for some transactions. After tat, go 4 my facial cum massage appt.
Left the place abt 3hrs later after having late lunch. Raining heavily with strong winds at Bedok. Took PW shuttle bus back to PW. Luckily, it wasn't raining there.
Was shocked & angry to find one of my Multiply accounts being deleted/removed without any warning. Unable to login, unable to re-create back using tat particular id. Email Multiply oso no reply. Dun do any laundry today.

Called up T2 Swensen 2 reconfirm reservation and 2 place our orders @ the same time. DISH of the Day is Black Pepper Seafood Pasta. Total of 4 ppl ordered it. While ice cream of the day are Cookies and Cream tog wif Mango. Took some photos and make it into slide show. Even Lishan oso specially make tis trip down as she's still on leave.

Over dinner last nite, I found something new from our friends here on the correct way to eat instant noodles without harming our bodies and health.
Normally, how we cook the instant noodles is to put the noodles into a pot with water, throw in the powder and let it cook for 3 mins around and then ready to eat.
This is the WRONG method of cooking the instant noodles. By doing this, when we actually boil the ingredients in the powder, normally with MSG, it will change the molecular structures of the MSG causing it to be toxic.
The other thing that you may or may not realized is that, the noodles are coated with wax and it will take around 4 to 5 days for the body to excrete the wax after you have taken the noodles.
So the CORRECT method, which you may or may not know, is to cook the noodles this way :
1. boil the noodles in a pot with water.
2. once the noodles is cooked, take out the noodles, and throw away the water which contains wax.
3. boil another pot of water till boiling and put the noodles into the hot boiling water and then shut the fire.
4. only at this stage when the fire is off, and while the water is very hot, put the ingredient with the powder into the water, to make noodle soup.
5. however, if you need dry noodles, take out the noodles n add the ingredient with the powder and toss it to get dry noodles.
Hope this piece of information is of importance to your health in relation to eating instant noodles and please apply this cooking method with immediate effect.

我们一群人，浩浩荡荡一起去Tiong Bahru Boneless Chicken Rice at Changi Village for lunch. We split into 2 cars. TCM and Sabrina were in Tony's car while Ros, Adel & me were in Chung's car. Originally, we wanted to go Downtown East but changed our mind.
Rice costs $2/plate, soup free flow. Lots of stuff are self service. Ordered some side dishes & ice barley. Ended up 5 bucks/person.
Continued a few EP only. Too tired and dozed off while watching so decided to stop for the night.

Heavy rain in the morning and the bus was late. Thought the bus wasn't coming again as happened recently. It broke down again so replacement bus came.
Best part is I SMS Syahirah abt it @ 0745 and she din received the SMS till we KO frm work @ 1725. Tat means you can't SMS ppl if it's concerns life and death matters. So dangerous......

Collected zoo passes on LK's behalf. Took Woodland's transport to T2 to meet up with Jennifer. From there we took MRT down to Orchard (Taka) to meet up with Debbie. Had our dinner at Taka Mac. After makan, jalan jalan around.
Saw Yit Tong at Kinokuniya while Q-ing up to make some enquiry for LK. Changed into sandals after legs pained.
Supposed to meet up with Kenneth but din since there's a change of plans. Took train down to Chinatown's Ppl Park where Jen's brother worked. Waited for LK & passed her the passes. Pity, still din managed to get the chance to see her b/f even though he drove her there.
Took cab to 97 @ Orchard Plaza Level 5 where the old disco Fire used to be situated. Took a couple of pictures. After tat, cam batt low. Darn!
Stayed till 2+AM before we leave. Stopped by at Upper East Coast Rd for supper. We had minced meat noodles(bak chor mee). Arranged to go there again on Jen's bade.

Bad news at work today: Zul had passed away at Changi Hospital. He left behind a 2mths old baby. Pitied the baby.
Hitched a ride with Hanim to Sakura Downton East. Chung was giving him a treat for his 50th bdae which falls on Monday (19Mar) and his impending promotion to Supervisor on 01Apr07.
Yati, Sabrina, Ros, Adel, TCM, Naz, MohdNoor, Naz's uncle, Kadijah, Timothy & me went ahead first. We sat back the same place where we last had our section makan. Presented his gift to him during his makan. He appeared uneasy (blush) when Naz's uncle hugged him suddenly. LOL!

House Fires-PLEASE READ
Received from a friend who is in the property insurance business. It is well worth reading. This is one of those emails that if you didn't send it, rest assured someone on your list will suffer for not reading it. The original message was written by a lady whose brother and his wife learned a hard lesson this past week.
Their house burned down.. ..nothing left but ashes. They have good insurance so the house will be replaced and most of the contents. That is the good news. However, they were sick when they found out the cause of the fire. The insurance investigator sifted through the ashes for several hours. He had the cause of the fire traced to the master bathroom. He asked her sis-in-law what she had plugged in the bathroom. She listed the normal thing, wccs....curling iron, blow dryer. He kept saying to her, "No, this would be something that would disintegrate at high temperatures". Then her sis-in-law remembered she had a Glade Plug-In, in the bathroom.
The investigator had one of those "Aha" moments. He said that was the cause of the fire. He said he has seen more house fires started with the plug-in type room fresheners than anything else. He said the plastic they are made from is THIN plastic. He also said that in every case there was nothing left to prove that it even existed.
When the investigator looked in the wall plug, the two prongs left from the plug-in were still in there. Her sister-in-law had one of the plug-ins that had a small night light built in it. She said she had noticed that the light would dim and then finally go out. She would walk into the bathroom a few hours later, and the light would be back on again. The investigator said that the unit was getting too hot, and would dim and go out rather than just blow the light bulb. Once it cooled down it would come back on.
That is a warning sign . The investigator said he personally wouldn't have any type of plug in fragrance device anywhere in his house. He has seen too many places that have been burned down due to them.
